It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Whitehurst (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on July 21, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Whitehurst and Alma Murray; and his wife Elizabeth Irene Whitehurst. He is survived by: his children, Robert Lee Whitehurst (Nina), Walter Richard Whitehurst and Jeffrey Murray Whitehurst (Carol); his grandchildren, Ross, Dan, Meg, Rowan, Arden, William "Gus" and Elizabeth Whitehurst; and his brothers, Charles Whitehurst and Douglas Whitehurst.
