She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Westcott and Hilda McKay; and her sister Elaine Brown. She is survived by: her husband Ramon Leyva; her children, Michael Leyva, Debbie Slawson (Tom), Theresa Futch and Kevin Leyva; and her siblings, Wilma Spellmeyer, Phyllis Farragut (Joe), Susan Beard (Wayne) and Carl Westcott. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Delhomme Funeral Home - Lafayette (1011 Bertrand Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506). A rosary was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers (1011 Bertrand Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery (3096 Johnston St, Lafayette, LA 70506).
