He was predeceased by: his father Russell J. Roy, Sr. of Lydia; his stepmother Rose "Mickey" Roy of Lydia; his grandparents, Anthony, Laverne Mannina of Lafayette, Forest and Odette Roy of Lydia; and his cousins, Anthony J. Marnina III of Lafayette, John Melancon of Lafayette and Lauren Johnson of Lafayette.
He is survived by: his mother Rosetta Mannina Roy; and his siblings, Ruth Roy Moat (Sean) of Virginia and Russell J. Roy, Jr. of Lafayette. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wow Lodge 714 (301 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555).
