We bid farewell to Paul Avery Lilly Jr. of Lafayette, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 13, 2025 at the age of 82. Paul Avery touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Avery Lilly Sr. and Mabel Salsman Lilly; and his siblings, Pauletta Marie Lilly and Anthony Joseph Lilly. He is survived by: his wife Abdie "Bea" Lilly; his children, Tony Lilly (Alma), Tracy Lilly, Trudy Lilly and Tonya Lilly; his brother Lawrence Lilly; his nephew Lawrence, Jr.; his nieces, Tammy and Shelley; and his grandchildren, Asia Mitchell, Avery Miller, Austin Miller, Antonio Martinez-Lilly, Maritza Rosales, Carlos Rosales, Zachary Lilly and Zoe Lilly. He is also survived by loving in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (818 12th St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Acadiana in memory of Paul Avery Lilly.
