She is survived by: her sister Rose Hulin (Chester); her in-laws, Annabelle Shelvin, Nelson Gerard (Verna), John Gerard (late Velma) and George Gerard (Alberta); her daughter Juanita Gerard Woodson; her grandchildren, Monique Allen of New Orleans, Edward Woodson (Joyce), Brandon Woodson (Azaleah) of Chicago and Miquel Cortez (Nicola) of Georgia; and her great grandchildren, Kindle Woodson, Jacob Williams, Justus Woodson, Jarique Woodson of Chicago, Trevor Handy of Houston, TX, Malika and Mokia Mouton of Lake Charles, LA..
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Syrie Funeral Home (1417 E Simcoe St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A rosary was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (818 12th St, Lafayette, LA 70501).
