He was predeceased by: his wife Loubertha Abraham; his parents, Clarence Abraham and Eula Mae Abraham; his siblings, Ruby Celestine, Dalton and Earl Abraham; his nieces, Nancy Jo Celestine and Agnes Celestine; and his grandson Christopher Celestine.
He is survived by: his children, Ieasha Abraham, Paula Chester (Tommy), Jameson Barras (Marshire) and Mary Barras; and his sister-in-law Willie Mae Abraham. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Syrie Funeral Home (1417 E Simcoe St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
