He was predeceased by: his father Donald Guidry, Sr.; his brother Donald Guidry, Jr.; his grandparents, Levie, Eddie Arceneaux, Joseph Guidry and Odile Gaspard (Willis Gaspard); his aunt Betty Falcon; his uncle Dr. Lawrence "Biddy" Guidry; and his brother-in-law Andre Railey Holloway.

He is survived by: his children, Jon Guidry, Jed Guidry, Jonas Guidry, Juliana Guidry, Jocelyn Guidry and Jetta Guidry; his mother Gayle Arceneaux Guidry; his siblings, Mary Presley, Cynthia Beverly (Matthew), Jenny Coles (Robert), Edward Guidry, John Guidry (Erica) and Matthew Guidry (Michelle); his aunts and uncles, Brenda Brandon (Tom), Sue Prudhomme (Mike), Patrick Guidry (Karen) and Jim Falcon; his parents-in-law, Gina Holloway and Mario Holloway (Suzie); and his nephew Chevron. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces.
