As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Barousse and Chlorita Barousse; and his sister-in-law Shannon McCullough Barousse. He is survived by: his siblings, Philip Barousse (Melanie), Patrick Barousse (Darylin), Gerald Barousse and Christine Barousse. He is also survived by twelve nieces & nephews; and numerous cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (600 Kaliste Saloom Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations and charitable giving be made to the place of one's choosing.
