He was predeceased by: his wife Annie Grace Dupuis; his parents, Joseph Dupuis and Laurence Lanclos; and his siblings, Caroll Lee Dupuis, Raymond Dupuis, John Robin and Laura Verna Arceneaux.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Lee Dupuis (Jackie) of Baton Rouge, Robert Joseph Dupuis (Kathy) of Burleson, TX, John William Dupuis of Denver, CO, Melvin Charles Dupuis (Maria) of Lafayette, Deborah Anne Dupuis Charles (Michael) of Bridgeton, NJ, Genevive Kristner of Bella Vista, AR, Cynthia Kay Bernard (Shane) of Winston Salem, NC and Elle Dupuis of North Pole, AK. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church (102 N Church St, Carencro, LA 70520). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520).
