It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvia Armelin (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on December 16, 2018, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Anita Jackson; and her sisters, Debra Williams, La-Rita Compton and Tandalaar Jackson. She is survived by: her brother Robin Strong (Ametra); her nieces and nephews, Marcus Jackson, Robbin Roundtree, Robin Strong, Jr., Tanya Priest, Marita Bob, Keara Guidry and Airriel Guidry; and her sister Breana Green.
