She is survived by: her children, Amber Michelle Short-Torres (Anthony) of Pineville and Andre George Beverly, Sr. (Mary) of Attala, AL; her mother Carolyn Robicheaux Short of Lafayette; her siblings, Susanne Guidry (Warren) of Rayne, Lisa Short (Binh) of Lafayette, Joseph W. Short of Lafayette and James Short (Lori) of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Kamron Michael Short, Kristian Roderick Short, Amelia Isabella Beverly, Andre George Beverly Jr., Merci Elizabeth Beverly, Anthony Jay Torres II, Marcus Diego Torres and Jessarah Grace Torres; and her nieces and nephews, Brandon Short, Jason Boudreaux (Desire), Tony Short (Danielle), Tan Nguyen (Melina), Brent Short (Heather), Trey Short (Christine), William Short (Amaya), Nicole Guidry, Jennifer Nguyen (Hoang), Tanya Short and Ashley Common (Manley).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Walters Funeral Home (2424 N University Ave, Lafayette, LA 70507). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
