She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Hymel and Barbara "Gayle" Hymel; her parents-in-law, Russell and Marie Chabaud; and her brothers, Daniel Hymel and Gerard Hymel.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Chabaud; the mothers of children, Alise (Kevin Hagan), Monique (Scott Sinitiere) and Danielle (Joshua Mayeaux); her grandchildren, Spencer, Natalie, Camille, Joseph, Rhett, Adelaide, Henry and Jude; and her siblings, Susan and Edward.
