Martin Joseph DuCote D. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martin Joseph DuCote D. of Lafayette, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his father Martin Joseph DuCote, Sr.; his sister Carolyn DuCote Walker (William); his son-in-law George E. Thow; and his brother-in-law David L. Mason. He is survived by: his wife Becky; his children, Karen D. Thow, Scott M. DuCote, Ruth D. Blundell (Ben) and Pam D. Peale (Clipper); and his grandchildren, Claire T. Zak (Thomas), G. Mason Thow, Lindsay D. Cheek (Collin), Luke I. Blundell (Madeline), Parker J. Blundell and Julia Jane Peale. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Delhomme Funeral Home - Lafayette (1011 Bertrand Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers (1011 Bertrand Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506). A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at the Hepzibah Cemetery - Shubuta.
