Though Marietta may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward LaFosse and Lovenia LaFosse; and her siblings, Cathy Chaisson, David LaFosse and Larry LaFosse. She is also survived by six nieces; one nephew; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Walters Funeral Home (2424 N University Ave, Lafayette, LA 70507). A rosary will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
