She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Martinez Blanco and Maria Louisa Martinez; and her son Carlos Careaga. She is survived by: her children, Lazaro Caballero, Luis Caballero of Miami, FL and Jaipsy Rodriguez (Eddy) of Lafayette; her siblings, Pablo Martinez of Miami, FL and Alba Martinez (Oscar) of Camaguey, Cuba; her granddaughter Jaipsy Maria Caballero Rodriguez; and her great grandchild Angie Caballero Rodriguez. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fountain Memorial Funeral Home (1010 Pandora St, Lafayette, LA 70506). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
