He is survived by: his wife Ethel Phillips Schexnaider; his daughter Cheryl S. Veronie (Ronald); his grandchildren, Nicole V. Bourque (Cory), Rachel V. Hebert, Cody Schexnaider (Lindsey) and Courtney Schexnaider; his great grandchildren, Hunter Bourque (Jill), Haylee Bourque, Chace Hebert, Drake Hebert, Braydee Schexnaider, Brett Schexnaider and Beni Schexnaider; and his siblings, Norris Schexnaider (Shirley), Bobby Schexnaider, Betty S. Trahan, Kathy S. Vincent, Irene S. Harrington and Flaudry S. Gary (Michael).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Delhomme Funeral Home - Lafayette (1011 Bertrand Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506). A rosary will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers (1011 Bertrand Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506).
