With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leroy Joseph Anderson of Lafayette, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2024 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson John Anderson and Eva Marie Vallot; his wife Vivian Aubrey Anderson; his daughter Yvette Alexander; and his stepmother Louella S. Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, David Anderson and Amanda Anderson; his grandchildren, Danielle Alexander, Keyomi Vice (Oliver), Kamryn Alexander and Abigail Anderson; his sister Cynthia Bernard (Jay); his niece Dominique Sauceda (Jerimiah); and his son-in-law Danny Alexander.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Delhomme Funeral Home - Lafayette (1011 Bertrand Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506). A rosary was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers (1011 Bertrand Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (1110 Old Spanish Trail, Scott, LA 70583).
