He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Simmons, Sr. and Eunice Barideaux Simmons; his siblings, Barbara Wiltz, Dianna Etienne, Victor Simmons, Jr., Raymond Simmons, Gerard Simmons, Michael Simmons and Carl Simmons; his sister-in-law Mary Simmons; and his nephews, Roman Williams, Jr., Ray Simmons and John Simmons.
He is survived by: his daughter Tanya Landry; his grandchildren, Jazmin Landry, Alexis Landry, Destiny Landry, Kirby Ka'Von Zeno and Terriana Gotch; his great grandchildren, Ne'Vaeh Reed and Jermaih Green; and his sisters, Clara Simmons, Joyce S. Bonnet, Earline Simmons-Mouton and Donna Simmons. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
