With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leola Caillier (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on March 8, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Leola may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Caillier and Ethel Caillier. She is survived by: her children, Harry E. Mercer II (Angel) and Stacey Y. Mercer; and her grandson Cash A. Bernard. She is also survived by ten siblings, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Calcutta House, Hospice of Acadiana, in memory of Leola Caillier.
