We bid farewell to Kathy Marie Menard of Lafayette, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 27, 2024 at the age of 54. Kathy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Sennette and Beverly Sennette; her grandparents, Wallace, Octavia Girouard and Mary Green; and her aunts and uncles, Florence, Joyce Girouard, Clifton, Lewis, Riley, Curly and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Jodi Girouard, Felicia Girouard (Tim), Menchella Girouard, Margo Derouen (Derrian) and Anajhia Simpson of Lafayette; her siblings, Larry, Rickey, Eric Girouard and Roxanne Girouard; and her grandchildren, Jamauri, Derrian Jr., Tatum, Carter, Khali, Autumn, Aupi, Cannon, Karli and Kaylee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (818 12th St, Lafayette, LA 70507). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
