She is survived by: her parents, George Sr and Theresa Alexander, Sr. of Lafayette; her uncles, Johnny Alexander (Elizabeth) and Harold Clay (Adrienne); her daughters, Shaya Holmes Augustine (Kindell) and Markeisha Holmes; her former spouse James Holmes of Richmond, VA.; her siblings, Dena Nabers (Wilbur), Danny Alexander (late Yvette), Connie Garrett (Timothy), Nikol Alexander-Floyd (late Gregory), George Alexander, Jr. (Angela), Nedra Alexander and April Greenhouse (Derick, Sr.); and her grandchildren, Ariyah Holmes, Kindell Augustine, Jr. and Kainen Augustine. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
