With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Vincent Lorenz of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on December 15, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Armin Lorenz and Marilyn Kliest Lorenz; his daughter Noel Christine Lorenz; and his brother Christopher Lorenz. He is survived by: his wife Candace Wilson Lorenz of Youngsville, LA; his children, Ronald Christopher Lorenz (Katy) of Carencro, LA, Lindsey Anne Lorenz of Los Angeles, CA and Megan Elizabeth Lorenz Swyter (Harrison) of Boston, MA; his siblings, Thomas Lorenz (Dana) of Rockwall, TX, Steve Lorenz (Cathy) of Rowlette, TX, Kathy Lorenz McKinney of Dallas, TX and Belinda Lorenz Delaney of Pflugerville, TX; and his grandchildren, Laurel Lorenz, Brett Lorenz, Anigre Swyter and Elowen Swyter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fountain Memorial Funeral Home (1010 Pandora St, Lafayette, LA 70506). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
