He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen Duplan, Jr. and Rita Jones Duplan. He is survived by: his wife Linda C. Duplan; his children, Jennifer Aymond (Tony) of Elmer and Brady Duplan (Alexandra) of New Orleans; his sister Marcia Duplan of Thibodaux; his aunt Patricia Bel of Arkansas; his grandchildren, Whitney Aymond, Hunter Aymond, Abigail Aymond, Amelie Duplan and Camille Duplan; and his great grandchild Kaycen Aymond. He is also survived by "Pops" to his children and "Paw Paw" to his grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Kramer Funeral Home (2905 Masonic Dr, Alexandria, LA 71301). A rosary was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Rita Catholic Church - Alexandria (4401 Bayou Rapides Rd, Alexandria, LA 71303). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens - Lafayette (2300 N University Ave, Lafayette, LA 70507).
