She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Warren Turner, Sr. and Mercedes Avet Turner; and her siblings, Lizbeth "Beth" Turner and Thomas Warren Turner, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Thomas W. Sawyer; her children, Brian DeHart (Courtney), Rebecca Sawyer Comeaux (Walter), Thomas Wade Sawyer, II and Jason Paul Sawyer; her sister Laurie Turner Conkerton (John); her grandchildren, Bailey, Rowan, Rami, Cameron DeHart, Andrew, Alyssa Moresi, Quin, Corinne Comeaux and Ben Sawyer; and her caregivers, Zack David and Penny Navarre.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the David Funeral Home of Lafayette Thursday (316 Youngsville Hwy, Lafayette, LA 70508). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the David Funeral Home Chapel of Lafayette (316 Youngsville Hwy, Lafayette, LA 70508). An entombment was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (201 Church St, Youngsville, LA 70592).
