He was predeceased by: his wife Jackie Tullier Gomez; his son R. Bryan Gomez; his parents, Laurence Gomez and Anastasie Gomez of Baton Rouge, LA; his siblings, Elaine Cortelloni, Griffin Gomez, Dorothy Frazee and Ron Gomez; his granddaughter Bree Gomez; and his great grandchild Cassie Hull.
He is survived by: his children, Gary S. Gomez of Lafayette, LA, David G. Gomez of Rockport, TX, Cheryl G. Duncan (John) of Lafayette, LA, Connie G. Domingue of Lafayette, LA and Tracy L. Crona (Mark) of Pensacola, FL; and his daughter-in-law Trudy Gomez of Maurice, LA. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
