He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold S. Barker and Marcelle Daboval Barker; his brothers, Samuel H. Barker and Charles Barker; and the mother of his children Suzette Barra Barker.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bragg of Lafayette; his children, Henry D. Barker, Jr. (Nancy) of Lafayette, Shawn B. Arceneaux (Troy Rue) of Breaux Bridge and Michelle B. John (William) of Carencro; his stepdaughters, Shannon B. Price of Liberty Hill, TX and Natalie B. Guilbeaux of Erath; and his sister Sally Wolfe. He is also survived by eight step grandchildren.
