He was predeceased by: his parents, Camille Decuire and Victoria Decuire; his wife Dorothy Decuire; his siblings, Lloyd, Allen, Louis, Jude Decuire, Mary Dennis, Theresa Celestine, Anna Green, Agnes Bourda and Eldora Landry; his daughter Theresa Lindon; his grandsons, Chase Senegal and John Lindon; and his great grandchild Malachi Lopez.
He is survived by: his children, Della Lewis, Lilly Flugence, Leslie Lopez (Michael), Francis Flugence (Charlene) and Walter Flugence (Tracy). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Syrie Funeral Home (1417 E Simcoe St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (818 12th St, Lafayette, LA 70501).
