The passing of Goldie M. Harper of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Sterling, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 28, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Varadi and Julia Varadi (Huszka); her stepson Norman Harper; her siblings, Joseph Varadi Jr. (Jewel), Mike Morrow (Magda), Martin Moro (Margaret), George Moro (Betty), Steve Varadi, Alex Varadi (Katie), Judy Gunn (Pete) and Velma Varadi; and her siblings-in-law, Eugene Harper and Kay English.
She is survived by: her children, David LaClair (Peggy), Christine Schuck (Tom), Carol LaClair, Darren LaClair (Linda) and Dennis LaClair (Mary); her stepson Major Dean Harper (Maria); and her siblings-in-law, Bill Harper and Pauline Hall. She is also survived by many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (6400 McCarty Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Cemetery (381 St Andrews Rd, Saginaw, MI 48638).
