Frederic Grove Sierveld Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frederic Grove Sierveld of Lafayette, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Frederic Grove may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Frederic Grove touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederic Herman Sierveld and Florence Bell Grove. He is survived by: his granddaughter Sophie Pearl; his sons, Gregory Grove Sierveld (Lisa) and Gerald Lee Sierveld (Brandee); and his granddaughter Sophie P. Sierveld.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2300 N University Ave, Lafayette, LA 70507).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all charitable and honoraria giving be made to Hospice of Acadiana, Food 4 Love, and VITA (Volunteer Instructors Teaching Adults) Lafayette.
