He is survived by: his children, Matthew Privat (Steven Morvant), Joshua Privat and Pharaby Privat Jeffrey; his grandchildren, Emerson Privat, Jesse Jeffrey, Luke Jeffrey and Payton Jeffrey; the mother of his children Sharon Daigle Privat of Lafayette; and his siblings, Josette Privat Delahousaye, Johnny Privat of Lafayette, Yvonne Privat Nickel of Crowley and George Privat of Baton Rouge.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any of the following charities, Rayne Catholic Elementary, Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Lafayette, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
