She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie W. Hunt and Vivian LeDoux Hunt; and her siblings, Harold Hunt, Lee Allen Hunt and Jean Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Smith; her children, Robyn Daigle Franks (Christopher Glen Franks) and Bradley James Daigle (Tressa LaFleur Daigle); her stepson Brian Richard Smith (Tracie Strickhausen Smith); and her brothers, Shelton "Booster" Hunt (Mona) and Dewey "Nick" Hunt. She is also survived by her five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Matthews Funeral Home - Jennings (511 N Cutting Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
