Eugene Meers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Meers of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Olney, Texas, who passed away on August 18, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Eugene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eugene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Collins and Ethel Ann Dipprey Meers; his sisters, Novella McCullough, Oleta Garrison, Vivian Davidson and Bertha Jo Crowley; his nephew Roy Lee Johnson; and his niece Linda Garrison.
He is survived by: his niece Charolette Behrendt of Burnet, Texas.
