We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2024, at the age of 84, Edward Clarence Ledet (Lafayette, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Ledet and Maggie Clement Ledet; and his siblings, Wallace Ledet Sr., Clifton Ledet Sr., Milton Ledet, Dalton Ledet, Olivia Wiltz, Lillian Wiltz, Helen Martin, Margaret Ledet and Lydia James.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bernard Ledet; his sons, Christopher Ledet of Lafayette and Jermaine Ledet of Houston; his children-in-law, Bobbie Ledet and Darrell Gerdes; and his grandchildren, Chris Sampia, Brandon Sampia, Tachiana Ledet, Latoya Pommier, Jermaine Paddio, Thaddeus Paddio, Quinn Paddio and Deshawn Morris. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He donated countless hours as part of this organization's effort to promote self-reliance in these communities.
