With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Bonin Jr. of Lafayette, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bonin and Clare Bernard Bonin; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Bonin. He is survived by: his wife Lois Patin Bonin of Lafayette; his children, Mark Bonin of Covington, Guy Bonin (Nadine) of Lafayette, Nanette Prejean (Allen) of Broussard and Robin Sonnier (Rickie) of Duson; his brothers, Daniel Bonin of Lafayette and Michael Bonin of Lafayette; and his grandchildren, Phillip, Eva, Rachel, Rhea, Andre, Katie, Joshua and Carrissa. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
