She was predeceased by: her husband Durelle Allen, Sr.; and her son-in-law Jerry Smith. She is survived by: her children, Suzi Allen Smith of Hammond, LA, Durelle Allen, Jr. of Lafayette, LA and David Allen (Tammy Allen) of Youngsville, LA; her granddaughters, Emily Allen Menard (Derek Menard) and Natalie Allen; her great grandchildren, Charlotte Menard and Corinne Menard; and her caregivers, Julie Brewer, Karen Yokum, Beverly Hamburg, Carla Boudreaux and Crystal Chevalier.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Christian School Chapel (201 W Convent St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
