He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Fontenette; his brothers, Gilbert Fontenette, Rogers Fontenette and Dehavon Fontenette; and his grandparents, Gilbert "Snow" Journet, Alphonso Fontenette and Theresa Fontenette.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Fontenette; his children, Dylan, Joshua Fontenette and Nia Fontenette; his grandmother Leola Journet; his sisters, Chastity (Dwight) of Arnaudville, LA and Johniecia Fontenette of Houston, TX; and his father John Fontenette of Breaux Bridge, LA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Syrie Funeral Home (1417 E Simcoe St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Regis Catholic Church (232 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512).
