He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Delahoussaye and Ellis Delahoussaye Sr.; his brother Ellis Delahoussaye Jr.; his in-laws, Robert Comeaux Sr., Evola G Comeaux and Isabelle "Bell" Comeaux; his brother-in-law Ned Comeaux; and his great grandchild Dakota Marrie Delahoussaye.
He is survived by: his wife Nell Comeaux Delahoussaye; his children, Cory Delahoussaye (Dawn) of Coteau, Kandy Miller (Teddy) of Coteau and Mandy LeBlanc (Travis) of Coteau; his grandchildren, Kartni Delahoussaye, Justin Delahoussaye, Lauren Martinez, Blake Romero, Taylor Broussard, Alyssa Miller, Dakotah Ransonet, Chelsea Chastant and Caleb Romero; his great grandchildren, Kason, Kalem, Zayden, Vivian, Grace and Grayson; his brothers, Glen Delahoussaye (Liz) and Lynn Patrick Delahoussaye (Cathy); and his caregivers, Grant, Kammy, Dr. Perez, Dr. Fashho and Poncho. He is also survived by loving husband to his wife, a great dad to his children, as well as an amazing grandfather to his grand and great grandkids.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555). A rosary was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
