We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2025, at the age of 51, Damon Andre Joseph DeRouen Sr. of Lafayette, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold R. DeRouen and Louisa Poydras DeRouen; and his grandparents, Matthew Sr. and Beatrice George DeRouen. He is survived by: his children, Damon Andre DeRouen Jr. and Kai Andrea DeRouen; his wife Keddra R. DeRouen; his siblings, Germaine DeRouen and Vincent DeRouen (Dawn) of Lafayette, LA; his parents-in-law, Charles Rollins and Christine Rollins of Lacombe, LA; his brother-in-law Brandon Rollins (Monique) of Las Vegas, NV; his nieces and nephews, Ahman DeRouen, Brandon Rollins Jr., Delany Rollins, Melani Rollins and Indy Rollins; his aunts, Barbara Mouton (Forrest) and Brenda Lewis; and his uncle Matthew DeRouen Jr. (Joyce). He is also survived by numerous cousins, relatives, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (818 12th St, Lafayette, LA 70501).
