It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Collier-Davis of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sammie Collier and Elizabeth Purifoy; and her siblings, William Collier, Worrell Collier, Mary Williams, Delores Lee, Bernice Mobley and Hazel Hines.
She is survived by: her children, Letitia Davis-Ghant of Douglasville and Randall E. Davis (Karen) of Carencro; her grandchildren, Christina Green (Keith II), Lauren Callihan (Everett), Kayla Davis and Jordan Davis; her great grandchildren, Kennedi Green and Keith Elijah Green; and her former husband Melvin Davis of Scott. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
