He was predeceased by: his wife Celestine Gallien Taylor; his parents, Lillie Mae and Alford Taylor; and his siblings, Clarence, Levern Taylor, Florine Evans, Berteal Butner, Joyce Jack, Alfredia Washington and Dorothy Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Creduer (Carl) of Church Point and Charles R. Taylor; his sister Barbara Bishop of Columbus, MS; and his granddaughters, Lana Breaux of Church Point and Marae Creduer of Mire.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Walters Funeral Home (2424 N University Ave, Lafayette, LA 70507). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
