It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Douglas Moore of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund C. Moore, Jr. and Gloria Calhoun; his wife Margaret Mosley Moore (Gerry); his son Charles Douglas Moore, Jr.; his brothers, Edmond C. Moore, III and Jimmy Mosley; his sister-in-law Nancy Simmons Mosley; his niece Robin Amanda Mosley; and his nephew Harold Robert Mosley, II.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Patty Culver; his daughters, Kendra Ann Moore Baudoin (Bennett) and Dana Michelle Moore Gautreaux (Kevin); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Melanson, Ashlyn Gautreaux and Kaelyn Murphy (James); his stepgranddaughters, Amber Drewett and Logan Baudoin; his great grandchildren, Aiden Cummins, Riley Cummins, Gavin Cummins and Asher Murphy; and his siblings, Frances Otto, Gary Moore and Robert Mosley.
