He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Brubaker and Jack Brubaker; and his brother Jack Brubaker Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Christine Hale Brubaker; his children, Mark "Scottie" Brubaker (Kayla) of Youngsville, William "Billy" Brubaker of Gretna, Kayla Brubaker Beard (Beau) of Breaux Bridge and Nicole Benezech (Rusty) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Ella, Jaxon, Maggie and Charles; and his siblings, Andi Rigby (Alton) of Nacogdoches, TX and Candace Brubaker Andreozzi (Hugh McCauley) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
