He is survived by: his children, Barbara Dilworth, Robert and Mervin Alfred; his godchild Kendale Alfred; his siblings, Glenda Ardoin (Wilbert), Tammy Alexis and Larry Turpeau; and his siblings-in-law, Martin, Curtis Alfred, Wilbert Ardoin, Willie Chassion, Emily, Tosha, Molly and Annette Alfred. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Syrie Funeral Home (1417 E Simcoe St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
