She was predeceased by: her husband Elvin Peter "Bubba" Hidalgo, Jr.; her parents, Carl Joseph and Ethel Marie Marchand Bellard; and her granddaughter Hannah Claire Deininger. She is survived by: her children, James Daniel'Boone'Hidalgo (Alicia) of Lafayette, LA, Holly Denise Hidalgo of Lafayette, LA and Cindy Ruth Hidalgo of Scott, LA; her siblings, Rusty Bellard (Jennifer), AJ Bellard (Penny) of Fayetteville, AR, Mike Bellard (Nancy) of Lafayette, LA, Richard Bellard (Marie) of Lafayette, LA and Michelle Hanks (Bryan) of Lafayette, LA; her granddaughters, Stephanie Allen, Heather Thibodeaux, Ava Claire Thibodeaux and Madelyn Deininger; her great grandchildren, Olivia Allen and Vivianne Allen; her godsons, Eric Bellard, Jared Bellard, Bart Walker and Lance Diesi; and her great grandchildren, Parker Thibodeaux and Carter Thibodeaux. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fountain Memorial Funeral Home (1010 Pandora St, Lafayette, LA 70506). A rosary will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
