We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2022, at the age of 80, Barbara Schneider McDaniel in Lafayette, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband David Lee McDaniel, Jr.; her parents, James Schneider and Rose Zaunbrecher Schneider; her grandsons, Alex McDaniel and Nicholas Zeringue; and her siblings, Elaine Zaunbrecher and Stephen Schneider.

She is survived by: her children, Karla M. Broussard (Robert), Michelle M. Cormier (Chuck), Rachelle M. Picard (Chris) and James D. "Jimmy" McDaniel (Julie); her brother Michael Schneider (Carol); and her siblings-in-law, Diane Schneider and Rodney Zaunbrecher. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
