She was predeceased by: her husband Grady Mack Shedd; her parents, Talton Saltzman and Ruby Hanks Saltzman; and her siblings, Willard James Saltzman, Clayton Dale Saltzman, Robert Wayne Saltzman and Geraldine Aromola.
She is survived by: her children, Talton Edward Shedd (Shellee) of Broussard, Terry Lynn Cordick (Bruce) of Youngsville and Barbara Melissa Marr of Kentucky; her pets, Patticake and Lollipop; her siblings, Charles Saltzman (Shirley) of Houston, Terry Paul Saltzman of Baton Rouge, Michael Saltzman (Della) of Broussard, Jackie Jones (Richard) of Crowley, Gloria Aucoin (Daryl) of Crowley, Joetta Duhon (Walter) of Broussard and Vickie Bourgeois of Scott; her grandchildren, Brandon Shedd, Lane Shedd, Aaron Shedd (Katelyn), Tootsie Jourden (Justin), Tanner Cordick (Drew) and Randi Marr (Hunter); and her great grandchildren, Kristen Shedd, Julia Shedd, Katherine Shedd, Kaylie Shedd, Sadie Shedd, Ellie Shedd, Everett Jourden and Tucker Jourden.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Frioux-David Funeral Home of Lafayette (316 Youngsville Hwy, Lafayette, LA 70508). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (201 Church St, Youngsville, LA 70592). A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at the same location.
