It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Joseph Guidry (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elie Paul Guidry and Helen Timmons Guidry. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Hebert Guidry; his children, Shannon Gary (Travis) and Lance Winder (Christy); and his grandchildren, Austin Champagne, Samantha Gerard, Matthew Gary, Slade Winder and Ronin Winder.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walters Funeral Home (2424 N University Ave, Lafayette, LA 70507). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (2300 N University Ave, Lafayette, LA 70507).
In lieu of flowers the family humbly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Alan's name at donate.cancer.org.
