He was predeceased by: his father Wilbert B. Johnson, Sr.; and his granddaughter Brittany Rose Anderson. He is survived by: his mother Julia Batiste; his daughters, Lisa Pharr (Derrick) and Crystal Batiste-Samuel (Lemuel); and his siblings, Douglas Batiste, Ronnie Batiste, Pleasant S. Matthews, III, Henry Batiste, Wilbert Johnson, Jr., Darrell Johnson, Michael Batiste, Horace Batiste, Danny Batiste, Gilbert Johnson, Marilyn Dorsey, Susan M. Matthews and Debra Johnson. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
