He is survived by: his children, Rene Thomas, Vernell Thomas, Jr., Jarvis Thomas, Shavon Thomas and Ashley Thomas. He is also survived by 5 sisters; 2 brothers; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
