She was predeceased by: her parents, Decator Franklin Sr. and Adia Fontenot Franklin; her close friend Albert "Dale" Buchanan; and her siblings, Cathy McDaniels, Richard Franklin and Ricky Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Clemile Crochet Jr., Felicity Mitchell, Kristie Hyatt, Decator Crochet Sr., Tressie Mitchell and Deidre Reed; and her siblings, Mary Holt of Shirley Wilkie, D. J, Joyce Jones and Lolli Allen. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
